Clarkes Point Reserve was the perfect setting for Ahava Classic Chuppah Design. The roof was decorated with a nice thick draping of pure white fabric, which looked so beautiful with the twisted willow and dainty roses creeping up the chuppah poles!

Ahava Designs launched - June 2011

Last year, while planning our own wedding, we had learnt that the chuppah is one of the most important elements of the Jewish marriage ceremony. We wanted our chuppah/canopy to be symbolic, strong and beautiful, it was after all a representation of our future home we would be building together.  I researched the market here for some ideas and found it difficult to find something that really reflected these characteristics i. I thought about it and I was sure there were other brides and grooms out there in Sydney and Australia that wanted something similar and so Ahava Designs was born. I always knew I wanted to do something I was passionate about, that was creative and that could bring joy to other people.

We launched Ahava Designs officially and on-line on the 1st of June 2011, and hope to bring many special bride and grooms lots of  joy and happiness. 

We offer beautifully designed and customised chuppahs/canopies to our clients and a first-class full service of delivering, setting up and taking down the chuppahs.

Our ideas stem from many different concepts, creative thinking and various designs I have seen while living in Israel and abroad. We offer many different products that relate to the chuppah / canopy, for example, the glass to break, chairs, table for signing, personalised roofs and more.

 Going through the planning process ourselves we understand the panic and chaos that goes on with all the preparations behind the scenes and with our strong service ethic, we strive to make the process easy and seamless for our clients, as well as creating a beautiful and unique setting for the couple to be unified in.
